Don’t listen to the other answers. losing weight can be done safely, but there is NO default safe amount. It depends upon your health, your weight, your BMI, a whole bunch of factors. The best thing to do is consult your doctor or failing that a fitness instructor/program writer at a gym. Just picking a random amount to lose is not a safe or effective way to do it.

Hello, Margaret here. Thanks for visiting my website.
1-2 pounds is excellent, if you lose much more, the weight will not stay off. make sure you stick to your diet, calories in calories out.
they say 1-2 pounds a week is safe..so i’m sure you can do the math
1 pound. Contrary to popular belief it is unsafe and unhealthy to lose an enormous amount of weight in a short time. The natural course dictates that we should lose no more than 10 pounds a year let alone in a month. When people do this it weakens their heart because of the strain put on the body when due to the rapid weight loss, but those reports don’t get published. At least not yet anyways.
