How Much Weight Can I Lose Safely In 3 Months, And Whats The Best Form Of Exercise To Achieve This?

February 6th, 2010 by Leave a reply »

Im 19, (girl) weigh 138 pounds (63 kgs) and im about 5 ft 5 (last time i checked)
ive been walking every day this week and have cut out sugars and lollies… and all the icky stuff. i just came back from england and obviously put on weight over there and just want to go back to my normal 53 kgs (which i was last year). i know its going to be hard because ive heard its pretty difficult to go from sort-of-not-really fat, to skinny…
so any tips, and anything i should avoid or do to help me would be much appreciated! :)
thanks x

I’m pretty convinced ANYONE can lose weight just by eating right and exercising. I’ve had plenty of overweight friends lose the extra weight just by watching what they eat and running a few times a week. Give up the fast-food if you eat it. I would say food you have to cook/make yourself (chicken, fish, vegetables, etc.) would be best things to eat, as opposed to frozen dinners, pizzas, fast food, etc.
Start running or some other form of cardio. If you don’t run now, you should probably start off slowly and work your way up to a few miles at a time, maybe.
Like I said, I have seen a lot of people lose weight just by doing this. No fancy diet or pills, just a little willpower and determination. And when you start losing the weight, you’ll just be that much more motivated to keep at it.

Im 133 and 19 and 5′5 aswell and im having trouble keeping it off too ! BUT you need to burnn 3500 calories a week to loose one pound a week, 3500 calories is 1 lb. Fast paced up-hill walking is good and weights
